Sometimes only the best will do. Everyone wants to live in a beautiful home that reflects their personality, so there’s no reason why this philosophy shouldn’t also extend to the radiators. Bring warmth into your home in more ways than one and make every room beautiful with designer feature radiators

Designer radiators come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Many don’t even look like radiators at all! Some are works of art in their own right, even though their primary purpose is to provide enough heat to keep you cosy even in the depths of winter – the National Gallery may have thousands of paintings, but none of them do!

Here is a small selection of the many types of designer radiators available at our stores.

You’ve been framed?

Talking of art, if you like abstract art, then you’ll love the Frame. It was designed by Mariano Moroni, who has created a radiator that you’ll be proud to have as the centre of attention in the room. There is a choice of four designs, so you can have a different one in a number of rooms if that’s what you want. You can even get a towel rail accessory for it, but quite frankly, we think the Frame is far too beautiful to hide in the bathroom.

Feature radiator, feature radiator on the wall…

Mirror radiators are extremely popular, and it’s not hard to reflect why that is. By combining a radiator with a full-length mirror, you can save a lot of wall space with mirror radiators. You can hang them in the bedroom, bathroom or hallway – all the places where you need a mirror to check your appearance and where space can often be limited. The reflective surface is highly polished stainless steel which works just as well as a standard glass mirror.

Warming eco-credentials

Heat and nature join forces in the Frosk radiator. It is part of the Livingstone range, which is moulded from marble dust and fully recyclable at the end of its useful life. The Frosk’s main feature is the imprint of a small branch in the centre of the radiator – a design that is attractive as well as intriguing and brings nature into your home. A great talking point on many levels, it is also very calming to look at, making it ideal for the room you like to chill out in after a hard day’s work.

Traditional design will never go out of style

Cast iron radiators are always popular. If you want a traditional look, the Rococo is a stunning reproduction with scrolled relief patterns that will look amazing in older homes, without compromising on heat output. For a more modern take on the traditional cast iron radiator, have a look at the Mercury. It manages to combine the style of the traditional Victorian column radiator with a more contemporary feel.

Energy-efficient radiators

In the past few weeks we’ve been getting a lot of enquiries about energy-efficient radiators. However, there’s no reason why an energy-efficient radiator can’t also be a feature radiator. Take the Play for example. It’s a fun panelled radiator that can be as colourful or monochrome as you’d like it to be. Perfect for the kids’ bedroom, its low-H20 heat exchange will help your fuel bills, without any drop in temperature.

This is just a small selection of the stunning range of designer radiators in stock. We have examples at our radiator showrooms in St Albans, Islington, Clapham, Brighton, Bristol and Leamington Spa, so why not drop in and see them for yourself.
