Just because radiators are practical, it doesn’t mean they have to be boring. We’ve made do with utilitarian designs for too long – it’s time to shake things up a bit on the walls of our homes and integrate style with efficient ways of keeping us warm.

These days, designer radiators are getting less conventional looking and a lot funkier; there is a growing popularity for funky radiators that draw attention to themselves. Here are our favourite ones:

Kinetic Glass radiators

You probably wouldn’t associate colourful glass with radiators, but the kinetic glass radiator range can make a room pop. They come in different finishes and a variety of colours, but you can also create your own designs or even use your photos.

Designs are infused into the back of the glass, and the quality will not degrade in light or heat.

Nature radiators

If you’re looking for a simple design which is very stylish, take a look at our Nature collection, which includes radiators like the Camelia. The radiator comes in several colours and finishes, including different choices of colour for the flower pattern.

As they were originally designed as funky heated towel rails, you could, if you wanted to, put your Nature radiators in the bathroom, but we think you’d prefer to put them somewhere more prominent where they’re going to be seen by as many people as possible!

The Camelia Nature radiator is available to view at all of our radiator shops, click here to find your closest one.

Hot art

If you love paintings and you love being warm nice and toasty, then you’ll adore love our funky Frame radiators which combine heat with modern art. Choose between the moody Artic and the colourful Corallo designs which have both been created by artist Mariano Moroni. The Frame radiators are on display at our Brighton radiator showroom.

Futuristic

The Surf is a great design – inspired by the shape of a surfboard – that will give your room an impressive ‘space- age’ look. The valves are completely hidden behind the Surf which makes it appear even less like a functional tool and more like a work of art. This product is available to view at our Brighton, Leamington Spa and Islington stores.

Industrial piping

If you’re going for an industrial or a steam -punk look, the Pajak radiator’s copper piping will compliment this style perfectly. It is as practical as it is funky, with bars and wooden knobs from which to hang towels or coats, making it ideal for the bathroom as well as for the hallway. In fact, it’s beautiful enough for any room in the house. This product is available to view in our Brighton, St Albans and Clapham radiator showrooms.

Our funky radiators are on show at selected stores, so if you’re planning to come and look at them in person either check above to see where they’re available or get in touch.
