Standard Retaining Stay.

Our standard steel retaining stay is ideal for securing a cast iron radiator against masonry walls.

At 250mm long and made from M8 threaded bars that can be cut to length, the galvanized plates can be painted to match the finished radiator.

Wall stays are required to secure heavy cast iron radiators to the wall, preventing them from rocking forward or backwards. The Radiator Centre recommends one wall stay for every eleven sections of the radiator, i.e., an 11-section cast iron radiator would require one wall stay. Odd-numbered sections may require two or more retaining stays.
