Hybrid Trench Heating.

Trench heating is the most discreet way of introducing heat into a room and often proves ideal for spaces with large windows, conservatories, and rooms with limited wall space. Underneath the grille is a rapidly heating low-H2O heating element, either independently controlled or an integral part of a building’s heating system.

The Hybrid Trench Heating system is a fan-assisted model that enables higher heat outputs compared to the Standard Trench. The outputs listed are for medium fan speeds, but the full range of outputs can be seen in the PDF below.

Primarily aimed at customers using air and ground-sourced heat pumps because of the heat outputs achievable at lower water temperatures, it can also provide gentle cooling if a cold water feed is enabled during installation. However, this still makes for a great product where heating is only required, as the outputs at standard water temperatures are huge for the size of the product.

The choice of grilles is designed to work with a wide range of flooring, which increases the ‘invisibility’ of the source of heat. If space beneath the floor is limited or the wish is to retrofit trench heating, there is also the Micro Canal, which is only 60mm deep.
