Whether you run a large chain of hotels, a small group of boutique hotels, or just one hotel or guest house, having the right radiators for your properties is one of the basics.

One of our best-selling radiator brands is Jaga. In addition to providing energy-efficient Low Surface Temperature (LST) radiators that are ideal for hotels and other public buildings, they have written a very helpful Safe Heating Guide for hotels. The guides make several recommendations, including the optimum temperatures for a different range of public rooms, things to consider when choosing radiators, and health and safety issues, including minimising risk to guests when it comes to the type of accident that could involve a radiator – the most likely being, of course, burns from radiators with hot surfaces.

Appearance is everything

The type of hotel you run will have a huge bearing on the best type of radiator for the property. If energy costs are a major consideration, then we have several energy-efficient radiators. In addition, aluminium radiators are becoming more and more popular because they heat up more quickly and are more energy-efficient, so you can provide your guests with rooms at the heat they like best without having to pay through the nose for it.

The popularity of boutique hotels shows no sign of waning. If you’re going to the trouble and expense of decorating and furnishing your rooms with individualism and flair, there’s no point in having boring radiators when there are so many different stylish designs available that are as efficient as they are attractive.

Maybe your boutique hotel is in an old Victorian building, in which case you’ll probably want to consider cast iron radiators. The decoration on some of these radiators has been inspired by Victorian and Edwardian designs, adding an air of authenticity as well as to the look of the room.

If you’re planning an ultra-modern hotel, think about art radiators that could well become a central point – not to mention a talking point – of each room. All the styles we supply are chosen for their effectiveness as well as their appearance, meaning your rooms can be hot in both senses of the word!

Colourful rooms

When looking at designs, you also need to take colour into account. Most radiators are available in a range of colours and finishes, so you don’t have to stick to white! One of our newest lines, the Sherwood, looks absolutely stunning in bright, vibrant colours, giving your rooms a real wow factor.

If you are renovating or modernising your hotel, or would like to give your current rooms a real wow factor, give us a ring, or visit one of our radiator showrooms in St Albans, Leamington Spa, Islington, Clapham, Bristol or Brighton to see examples of our products and talk to one of our experts about how they can work for you.
