We opened our latest store in South London shop at 136 Northcote Road in Clapham/South Battersea last year and thought it would be a nice idea to explore the area and get to know our new neighbours.

Luxury homes

If you like our designer radiators, you’ll also love Brissi! It sells high quality, stylish furnishings and accessories. In fact, everything you need to create a stunning home… except the kind of high quality, stylish radiators that’ll turn a lovely room into a stunning room! Remember to drop into The Radiator Centre to find the perfect designer radiator to help you complete your room’s look.

Antiques

You could spend hours browsing all the antiques in the Northcote Road Antiques Market – in fact, we probably will! You never know what you’ll come across in this Aladdin’s cave of furniture, household goods, art and bric-a-brac. And if your house is full of antiques, you may want to pop into our shop to take a look at our traditional cast iron radiators

Playing music

If you’re a musician, you’ll love Northcote Music Shop. It’s run by a professional musician so you can be certain the staff know what they’re talking about. You can hire or buy instruments, or pick up sheet music, syllabus music, books and music-related gifts.

Get your nose in a book

There is an increasing amount of scientific research that shows how important it is for children to read more books – apparently, we learn more efficiently when reading the printed word than reading from a screen. And libraries are a hugely important resource for children’s development – socially as well as in terms of literacy. So we’re really pleased that Northcote Library is just a couple of doors down. If you like nothing more than curling up with a good book, make sure you’re in a well-heated room!

Pizza

It’s possible that we may be popping into Manifesto more often than is good for our waistlines! This specialist restaurant/takeaway makes high-quality pizzas that look delicious, at a very reasonable price.

More Italian food

On the opposite side of the road from The Radiator Centre is Numero Uno, an Italian restaurant that’s got such good reviews on Trip Advisor, it’s only a matter of time before we organise a staff night out there!

Even more Italian food!

We seem to have landed in Little Italy when it comes to food. Macellaio looks like the kind of place to book when you want to push the boat out. Mind you, whilst most of the menu looks absolutely delicious, we think the testicles sautéed in lard might be a delicacy too far…

That’s just a small selection of the businesses that are our immediate neighbours. “We’re looking forward to exploring Northcote Road further, it’s clearly a lively and thriving area with a diverse variety of shops and restaurants – and a great spot for our latest store!”
